Hi Beautiful People,

How has the month of January 2022 been so far? For me, it has been a time of reflecting, praying, restructuring, and planning. However, my focus today is really about everything that seems to be happening around the world. Undoubtedly, the world and how we do this today have changed from working from home, wearing a mask, washing our hands several times, and you might have to isolate yourself due to cold symptoms. Hence, we have to be intentional about each day, our thoughts and every decision we make.

Honestly, with so much uncertainty, we need to constantly renew our minds to free ourselves from fear and the negative captivity of the mind. There’s no better time than now to rise up and be all that God has called us to be. He has called you and me for a time like this, and we need each other to conquer the challenges we face. It’s not about who’s winning or losing; we all need to be our brother’s keeper. In Leviticus 26:8, it says, ”Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you”. The scripture highlights the importance of collaboration, and we are stronger together.

The time has come to prove our genuine love for humanity. We need to support each other and express love to one another. Those family, siblings and friendship rivals, we need to ensure these differences do not distract and limit our goal to address and tackle what lies ahead of us. With all that has happened since 2020, to a large extent, it has been beyond human understanding, but God said in Jeremiah 3:33, ”Ask me, and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come. Individually we might not know the answer to solve a problem, but together we will find a solution to questions we are searching for.

In chronicles 7:14, it confirms that ”If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land”. I may know my neighbour’s name, say hi and even eat from their table, but that is not enough. It’s time I learn to pray and genuinely support my neighbour. Let us raise our voices high together. Together we will conquer.

xoxo,

BBB Empower.
